Ghost Girl of Depression

Size:

38"W x 108"H

Year:

This piece is a series of images originally captured on a film camera. It is a ghost girl set inside an abandoned prison and a Slaughterhouse at an old prison located in Virginia. The photos were re-printed onto transparent film in addition to a found X-ray slide.

The work represents the artist's overall depression. It also stands as a representation of freeing the past but also settling as a reminder of its existence.
